APPLICATIONS FOR THE SIXTH COSINES Pi CONFERENCE ARE NOW OPEN

The goals and objectives of the conference:

  • to provide scholars, educators, and practitioners in the field of translation with opportunities to interact, communicate, and learn from each other's experiences;
  • to foster cross-disciplinary scholarly dialogue to develop integrated approaches in response to the growing challenges of translation in global contexts;
  • to advance the best practices of modern translation studies and disseminate their practical results that promote effective understanding and communication at all levels;
  • to foster intercultural communication on a global scale and to fine-tune the relationship between translation and world literature;
  • exchange views on the prospects for the translation industry in the age of global digitalization;
  • examine theoretical, practical, and methodological issues in translation and interpretation;
  • compare with current trends in translation evaluation, and with the perspectives of speakers of specialist knowledge or end users.
